At the community college level, you can complete general education and major prerequisites (typically part of an associate degree), to prepare for your transfer to a four-year college or university. The following steps will assist you in planning:

Step One: Choose your major.

Step Two: Research four-year colleges/universities.

Step Three: Research major prerequisites.

Step Four: Learn about transfer associate degree requirements

Step Five: Create your educational plan.

Step Six: Complete the college/university application process.
